Report:

Six hikers departed LVSC at 8:30; Road construction on SR536 put us at trailhead 9:45. Cloudy cool weather threatened rain/hail but did not appear. Lunch stop at Overlook and returned passing “War of Roses” medallion tree and the “looking glass” hollow tree for group photo. Returned to Ellis trailhead parking lot 1pm after completing 5.0 miles.
